Hello and a Warm Welcome to our Blog!

We are a couple who lives in the United States and have been married for 37 years. We have one son who is a gentleman, and a very caring, loving and special person. Throughout our lives together, we have had so many wonderful experiences that we would like to share with you. It is such a great privilege to receive the gift of life and to live on this amazing planet of ours! Our son is into health and fitness and somewhere in his busy schedule will contribute to this blog. We gave him a special place where you can view his posts, “Eric’s Corner”. So welcome to our family blog!

Travelling is among the many interests we love. It has been our good fortune to have visited many places around the globe. However, there are still many places on our wish list that we may never be able to see, but, we hope we will! Through the use of the internet, books, television and other resources, we have done and continue to do extensive research, always seeking to find a new adventure. We are delighted to share what we have experienced, thus far, and look forward to receiving your comments, as well as learning about your travels and other things that interest you.

To stay healthy, we love to play golf, tennis and practice yoga. We do get to the gym a few times a week and walking is a part of the our routine. As we get older, we know exercise is one of the keys to staying healthy, flexible and energetic. If, for whatever reason, we miss a few days of activity, we definitely feel the effects of immobility! So we have some great tips for you to stay active and they are not painful or boring – we make it fun! Eric will share yoga, strength training and other tips with you.

Cooking is one of our passions, so we seldom ever eat out – simply because it’s our preference to know what’s going into our pot! Our cuisine at home is mostly baked, steamed, grilled or raw. Chicken, turkey and fish remain on our grocery list, with very little red meat, but we do enjoy a good rib eye steak occasionally with a handsome leg of lamb thrown in for special occasions. We have an immeasurable list of recipes and tips to share with you and hope to get some from you, too.

Music is an integral part of our lives, especially for Rick, since this has been his world for his entire life. Now semi-retired, he is compiling all of the tours, concerts, live recordings, photos that he has collected from his travels throughout the world. Artist and tour management along with concert and festival producing are among his areas of expertise, as well as life-style marketing. He has worked with many of the greatest, most renowned musicians and recording artists the world has known.

Arts, crafts and DIY are very much part of our lives. Sharon is the creative person within this partnership. She is a person of immense imagination with the unique ability to create, invent and ultimately make almost anything and sometimes out of very little material. Sharon has a site on Pinterest (GlobalBytes) and we will often point you there to obtain great tips and ideas.
