Travel
We love to travel and have traveled quite extensively over the years. Traveling connects us to our global family and deepens our understanding of other cultures. Our observation, thus far is that we are more similar than different. All people want basic things in life – a place to live, food to eat, a job, respect and love. In many cases, language is not a barrier. In every culture a smile is magical, clasped hands in prayer position with head slightly bowed signifies hello and thank you, and “no” and “yes” require only a slight movement of the head either right to left or up and down. We’ve learned to be gracious, respectful, tolerant and non-judgmental while in another country, and always represent our country well when abroad. Traveling is educational and exciting, and remember, wherever you go, go with an open heart and mind.
